The EU is not generally thought of as an energy exporter, but the continent does export a bit of crude oil. While EU countries import a total of 572.5 Mt of crude oil from third-party countries, mainly Russia, Norway and western Asia, their 15.2 Mt worth of exports go mainly to the U.S. with some oil surprisingly going to Canada.
