Gas conservation up, Energy Resources Conservation Board says

As the following chart shows, the level of gas conservation in this province has risen continuously compared to a 1990 base year, with the exception of 1999, 2006, 2007 and 2008. This decline in conservation can be directly attributed to new development in heavy oil and bitumen areas.
