Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions soared in 2007 as compared to the 1990 Kyoto benchmark. Overall GHG emissions have increased by 26%, however not all emitters have contributed equally. This chart shows absolute emissions by sector and their growth or decline between 1990-2007.
